This really depends on what kind of plant you have... What i can recommend is giving it plenty of water and fertilizing in the early spring and early fall. This will usually cure the no bloom syndrome.

Sometimes this can happen to Wisteria Vines. Some Wisteria Vines that do not bloom, have to much nitrogen in the soil. This can easily be corrected with a soil test kit to first find out if you have this problem, then adding a high dose phosphorus fertilizer. Another Option would be to do what is called "root pruning". This forces mature plants to bloom. It is a very easy process but must be done in the fall in order to get blooms in the spring. This is acheived by driving a shovel into the ground in a 3 foot circle around the base of the wisteria plant. This will cut a majority of the roots, thus cutting down how much nitrogen the vine receives.

Royal Empress Trees are perfectly fine for pastures. The leaves actually contain a high amount of protein. I would however make sure you protect the plant from the horses for the first couple of years, until it has enough time to harden off and get established.

You are all wrong. The roots of plane trees do not go very deep. Also, they often rot easily. Thus if trees get too top heavy, they keel over. Thus the trees in Shanghai are trimmed on a seasonal basis.

Most likely your leaves are turning brown due to shock. Transplanting trees, especially large ones, can cause an enormous amount of shock to its system. It defense, the tree sheds it leaves to concentrate its efforts on producing new roots. I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just keep it watered and watch for any signs of fungus or insects. You may not see a difference this year, but next year, your tree should be back to normal.

You may be able to... However with a mature tree, i highly doubt that the high temperatures had anything to do with it. I would investigate insects and maybe over watering. Most plants hate to be "wet"

I always find it best to plant in the fall. This gives your Royal Empress Tree an opportunity to establish its root system, without having to compete with harsh summertime temperatures. In your area, i would recommend planting in early September. However this is completely up to you... Spring planting will also be effective, you just may have to supplement the water during the summer.

Great question and following comment. Where Parents and Masjids continue to fail in their duty who should take responsibility?. It's a question that needs addressing otherwise other infamous groups will continue to brainwash our children and successfully so!. Maybe the trust should follow the lead of other local Masjids who are empowering the youth eg. Maidenhead, High Wycombe, Reading and further afield Ghamkol Sharif in Birmingham. In my opinion the Mosque Committee will be accountable as unfortuately they hold the reigns of power. This website is unlikely to change their position. I would use this forum to challenge them and prove us all wrong. Set the precedance for change to provide us with a vision that changes the norm. Even if they would like to reply in Urdu that would be fine.

I dunno. All I know is back in the day our class average for calc was 80%. And I thought it was a joke. But I got 88 in calc back in the day where High School offered calc as a course. So I wouldn't know anymore lol. Colby is prob right. As I recall though, if you take Math 1228 you have to do pretty decent in it to use it as a math course in a science degree, since it's considered easier and so they expect higher marks. But that might have also been back in the day when it was a three-digit course.

We are both a sheltered and extra care housing scheme. The resident Social Committee hold the alchohol licence on this scheme which is better, if we held the licence we would then be involved in vat. There is a separate bar area with a counter with a metal grill which is locked when not in use. All additional stocks are kept in a locked store room. Security has not been a problem for us.

In general, Math 1228A/B is an easier course because it is for non-science students to take; however, if you do not enjoy or are not good at probability or other finite math topics, it could be hard. Throughout this hub, I've been telling some people not to take Calculus 1000 if they don't need it, but that's if they are not good at math or are really worried about it. To be honest, Calculus 1000 is not that hard and personally I think the material is much more interesting. If you just need a math course, consider whether you'd prefer learning calculus or probability. You can get an easy grade in both if you just do the work.

You could use a recovery program like "cardrecovery"it will read any card or drive, recover all the information for about $60US. I bought a copy and got all my lost data back and I can use it again and again. Google it and buy a copy online or download and pay for key. Works a treat on all data including pictures and other data.

Back in February I got nailed by a motorcycle cop while I was crossing the street on Wulumuqi Lu/Nanjing Xi Lu - I clearly didn't see him (I had my iPod in my ears and was only paying attention to the traffic light), and instead of trying to see if I was OK, the cop accused me of crossing when the light was red and said it was my fault. When the investigative police showed up to take the report, this cop found a "witness" who said I started crossing when the light was red. Nobody mentioned this rule to me while we argued about the report, and the other witnesses (who backed my story) didn't try to inform me of this.

Hey, It is possible to convert your WAV files from 80 BPM to 120 BPM. Just to note - by increasing the tempo of the file significantly, you will also increase the speed of the file and it will therefore sound much faster. The easiest way to convert a file from one BPM to another, is to double click on the file and it will appear in the trakKutter window. In the trakKutter window, you can alter the BPM of the file using the "Tempo Pot" or simply enter the new BPM into the "Tempo Field". When you have changed the BPM, you can press "Play" to hear the file playing at the new tempo. You have to go to the Shanghai Vehicle Management Office, 179 Qinchun lu, Minhang District. You need: - Passport with the Chinese Visa (obviously) - Resident permit for china (if under a year and over 3 months -> temporary driver's license / if above a year -> permanent license) - Translation of your current license in Chinese (I think you can do that at the Shanghai Foreign Language University Translation Company: 573 Chifeng lu. Check again the address...). - Recent picture - A health certificate from a hospital over coutny level (I think there is possibility to have a check there but I am not sure…) You will have to: - Complete the application form for the driver's license - Test about communication regulation - Test driving on road (if experience under 3 years) - Pay some money for the commission fee I think thats all :D

Its never enough until parents step up and do things they want their children to do. If they want their kids to be off the streets and in the Mosques, the parents have got to do that themselves first. As far as getting some youth involved with the Masjid, this website seems like a start in the right direction. Facebook group shows at least...

Our family has medical insurance for "the hard to insure". My husband got laid off at the end of April and the company cancelled his medical insurance the same day! No warning, no nothing. We looked around and found this private insurance policy. It is pretty good except it only covers prescription medications up to $100 a month. Because of that, we leave the expensive medications to be covered by the insurance and everything else we pay cash with a discount card that is available through our county - or through Costco. Because the premium is only $259 a month, for our whole family, I can handle the extra expense of the medication.

My company switched to a "high deductible / Health Savings Account" plan in January 2007. Since I am at the "family" level (supporting two children from when I was married), I must pay $5500 out of pocket first, and only then does the insurance kick in at 80%. It's like catastrophic insurance only. To properly manage my spondylitis I need one of the high-tech TNF blocker type of injectable medicines, such as Remicade or Humira. This would cost me about $9000 per year, out of pocket. I cannot afford that. So it's like I'm uninsured for this chronic condition. I have to beg manufacturers like Abbott Pharmaceutical each year to be placed on their "Patient Assistance" program. Since I make too much "gross" income to qualify (but my net income is low due to child support), I always have to appeal for an exception. Sometimes I get one, sometimes I don't. That's my story. It's awful, and it's true.

I'd just like to add that sometimes it's luck of the draw. I literally did 6 full loads of laundry in one night (I own a lot of clothes and hadn't done laundry for a while) and had no problem... I even used a few different units (shh don't tell). It is possible to use the machines in other units if you have friends on them, but I don't recommend it, because guaranteed if its hard for the people in your unit to do laundry, its probably just as hard in another. When I did it, I made sure that I would only use one from another unit, so that at least that unit had one other machine they could use.Also, to comment on what someone else said about laundry being stolen, I left laundry to "hang" dry on the shelf and forgot about it for a week, and went back and it was still there. People are generally respectable about that kind of thing.Just don't forget your laundry card in there. That sucks. People will take that.

Ladybugs were a problem for me and my roommate for a while, and we lived on the 24th floor of Saugeen. You're going to get the occasional bug like that, maybe a fly or two, but that was the worst I saw all year.Also, I know for Saugeen, they do a cleaning of the rooms every summer before move ins, and they vacuum in res once a week. I don't know if it applies for all other residences, but you can also rent vacuums as well. In other words, if you really want to, you can avoid the bugs.

We pay a co-pay of $10.00 for 6 pre-filled Enbrel syringes. There was an Enbrel support program that we signed up for as soon as it was prescribed. My daughter is probably going to be switched to Humira but I believe there is a similar program for that medication. I take an anti-depressant that has a co-pay support so I only pay $10 for 90 days supply. There are many things available but you have to do the research and keep on it until you get what's out there.

Once you meet your suite mates, you can decide whether or not you want to share cleaning supplies. Some suites do, some don't; it's just a matter of preference. It's almost always alright to share toaster ovens, but if not, there is definitely enough room for 2, maybe three, although not all on the counter at once (in the bottom cabinets). For the most part, there is enough room for everyone's baking gear. You'll find that some people bring a lot and some bring very little. There are four huge cupboards, one per person, that store a lot. Around the actual cooking area, there are several cupboards above and below. Again, you'll be figure out whose space is whose once you see what everyone else brought and what they need.

I have Blue Cross Blue Shield but I am going to lose it after today. We will see how this goes. I will no longer be able to take the Enbrel injections although I have seen just as much improvement with Azulfadine. I have been off work since March of 09 due to this disease and long longer able to do the job as I was doing. I don't think COBRA is an option for me due to the high cost. I am not joining the uninsured and sick...blah!

I have medicaid and it's "private" corp Molina. I've noticed that I've been low priority in a lot of situations. I can see limited amounts of doctors, have to fight hard for meds other people get...which yeah I get because I'm not paying for the private stuff. I was diagnosed with help from my xray results. I went to the doctor convinced I had pinched a nerve or broken something in my hip when I delivered my daughter. Turned out my Sac.joint was hardening in the other hip. (Why that make the right hip hurt I still don't understand.) There was hardening in the left hip as well. Did your doctor order more films or views?

Wow! Those people are very lucky. I had to fight my insurance co. For over 6 months to get them to cover anything. I have remicade infusions every 4 weeks, and my co-pay is $1000. Yes, that is for every infusion!! The remistart program is paying about $300 of that. The rest is on me. We are financially strapped and pay the rest of our bills late so I can get these treatments. It will all depend on how good your insurance is. My doctor told me I have the worst insurance he has ever dealt with.

I actually was tested twice. First time was positive, but moved to another town and the health plan would pay for the test and the new doctor didn't have access to my history. So he ran the same test and it came back negative. Genes don't change but labs screw up. False negatives are more likely than having AS without the gene so I am guessing that the test results were more likely inaccurate than that you are a non HLA-B27 person with AS.

Tutorials only have to be at the same time for full courses (Those course numbers that end in no number or the letter e for essay course). For half courses, each semester can have it's own tutorial time. If you look at your course schedule, your physics courses have two different course codes meaning they are different courses each semester. So they can each have their own tutorial time. At the beginning of the year, you can usually get by with laundry when you want because everyone doesn't have a routine laundry time yet. But as time passes, people get into habit of doing their laundry at a very specific time, typically when they have free time. And when they have free time, you can bet others do too. SMH has two washers and two dryers per unit, and only people living in the unit can access those rooms, unlike some residences where the whole building shares one laundry room. As such, you can usually do your laundry when you need, but there will be the odd time someone hogs the machines or everyone has free time and wants to wash clothes. Usually not a problem, but you may want to set a laundry day when no one does laundry early in the day. Friday and Saturday are the best days because everyone goes out those nights so no one does laundry. And if you're one of those people going out, don't worry: Do your laundry earlier in those days and you'll still be fine for the night. Hope that helps! P.S. Laundry etiquette: If you find someones clothes in the washer and need the washer, you can move them to the dryers if their not full. If the dryers are full and they haven't moved their clothes in ages, put the wet clothes on top of each dryer. NEVER put someone else's clothes on the floor. It's rude. But realize that if you're leaving your laundry sitting there for an hour, it's fair game for someone to move your stuff. You can't hog the machine forever. Oh and laundry hardly ever gets stolen so don't worry about that. And girls, if your worried about someone touching/moving your delicates then don't let them sit there forever. It sounds like common sense, but some people really drop the ball on this lol.

In my four years of residence, I've never seen a cockroach ever. Actually I did see one in suite style before, but mainly cause they were pigs with the kitchen (traditional don't have kitchens and are less prone to food lying around on the ground). But that room was a mess so it wasn't a surprise. Now I have seen lady bugs in traditional style and suite style before in spring time, and the odd house fly. So if you're scared of lady bugs you might wanna bring some bug spray for March/April, but really, not that much hahaha

Laundry rooms work with a card. At the beginning of the year, you will receive your card with your room keys already with some set amount ($50.00) that you use to turn the machines on. All you do is press buttons so it's even easier than what you might be used to. You can fill the card later if you need to. There might be long line ups the first time that everyone decides to do laundry, but very quickly everyone gets on a schedule and you don't have to wait much, if at all. The best times to do laundry is in the morning or early afternoon if you can since most students will use the machines at night. In general, it is not as bad as you think.

You really only get bugs if you have a really dirty room, so if you keep it clean, then you should be fine. The only big exception is that some rooms tend to get ladybugs in the spring once they hatch if you keep your window open, so once ladybugs start to come around keep your window closed and you'll be fine. One word of caution, if you live on the ground of a residence building you might get some bigger bugs like earwigs (they happen in Elgin for sure, although that's not a traditional residence) if there are cracks in the walls. If you do notice that there are bugs in your room, just alert the front desk and they will send someone to help get rid of them.

No, your tutorials do not need to be at the same time both terms because you are taking two different courses. As long as the tutorials match with the lectures (which they all do since I checked), you will be fine. Your friend's mistake is probably because she thinks your physics is a single full year course. If that was the case, your tutorial would also be listed as a full year tutorial. You are fine.

I wouldn't offer a domain at any price to the "brand owner". Delete it if you are worried about it. I am not a lawyer, but if you are building a fan site without trying to profit off of their brand name, then it would generally fall under fair use. Companies like fans, but they don't take well to people siphoning traffic from them, profiting off their trademarks, etc. It also depends on the company to some extent - so if you are dealing with, for example, verizon, just drop the name now.

It's a starting point, but more for the information it provides not the price it quotes - I rely on common sense, sales histories at places like namebio and the sales history tool at estibot., exact *Local* Google adwords keyword tool + CPC + number of advertisers, existing traffic, backlinks, previous use of the domain, whether it contains a clear trademark violation, number of search results for the exact match, is the name plural or singular and which is better for the specific keywords, length, number of keywords, use of articles such as The and Of, hyphenation, competition and status of the same keywords in other extensions, typo potential (for example if there are common misspellings or idn type issues), the relevance of the keywords to the extension, does it pass the "radio test"... And then the X factor of how desperate you are to buy/sell and how desperate the other party is to buy/sell. Estibot actually does a pretty decent job at a good chunk of that for very specific scenarios, but it fails miserably at others. I never actually buy or sell a name based on the estibot value alone.

Hi Thanks for you interest in trakAxPc At the moment, you can only fade to black automatically but here is a suggestion for you to be able to fade to white and allow you to achieve this effect. In Ms Paint which is available with all windows operating systems, just create a white.jpg then bring the white jpg into the mixing screen and crossfade it with the video that you want to fade to white. ( see screenshot) Once this white.jpg is crossfaded with your video it should fade to white. We are hoping to have the ability to fade out to different colors in the next release. I've observed many a bad tourist in Paris, usually my fellow Americans :-) To be a better tourist, read a few tips from reliable sources, eg Rick Steves. Learn a few basics of French - greetings, asking directions, ordering food, saying thank you, handling money. Speak quietly so only the people you are talking to can hear you. Always say "bonjour" when entering a store, and "merci" and "au revoir" when leaving. Don't touch things in French markets and stores...point and ask for help. If you are in an establishment, ask if it is OK to take a photo. Paris can be so beautiful at every turn, but remember that people are trying to get to work, so don't stop in the middle of the sidewalk to take pictures...move out of the way. And if you don't want to stand out as a tourist, don't wear your bright new athletic shoes. Most of all, be respectful. Forget about the old rumor that the French are rude...they just don't like rude people. Interact with the French with respect for their language and their culture, and you will be a good tourist.

I have been reading into this as well recently. I think if the brand is very obvious, then maybe. Like Louis Vuitton, or Gucci. But if it is like a generic brand name, then there is some ways you can go around it. I got a couple of brand names, and I felt a bit scared. So I emailed them this And if they want it, they can purchase it from me at cost. This will show that it was a mistake on your part and not malicious at all and that you just love the brand so much. This way, if you get a letter for lawsuit, you can cover yourself that you offered to give the brand name back to them. It doesnt matter if they reply or not. Just keep the email.

Ok. This is an answer for all your pedestrian/driving/biking questions recently: You are expected to react to what you see. If you step into traffic without looking, that means that whoever sees you is responsible for avoiding you, because you didn't see them, so you aren't expected to react to them. With the lights, they want you to see you BEHIND them, so you have to react/yield/not swerve in front of them. This is also why peopledeliberately don't look around -- if a witness states that you looked, saw someone coming, and went caused an accident, then you're at fault. If no one can claim you saw them, you have a good chance of not getting in trouble.

I have had severe knee pain at times also. It hurts so much to both sit down and get up from sitting, not to mention trying to go up a couple of steps. I am on remicade, anti-inflammatory meds and pain meds, when needed, but these did not help the last time I had severe knee pain. I went to my physiatrist and she gave me a steroid injection in it. That helped a lot and now it only bothers me occassionally, but not as intense or for as long. There are other types of injections for the knee available also.

I used to have severe heel pain that made it very difficult to walk and was told I had plantar fascilitis. My podiatrist told me to get a certain pair of shoes to help out. It is from SAS shoes ... The men's shoe (he said only women born with 4 toes or with part of their foot chopped off should wear women's shoes). The style is called "Time Out". I got these shoes a few years ago and it has made a miraculous difference. At one point about a year ago it started to hurt again and when I went in they made an insert for me. It has worked ever since.

Pain first thing in the morning is very common. We call it "shaking off the rust." I do stretching exercises in bed before I stand up. Taking an anti-inflammatory before falling asleep not only helps me sleep better, but also reduces the extent of the morning pain. That your pain gets better as you move around it an excellent sign. Do you wear inserts in your shoes during the day to stretch your planar fascia? If not, you probably want to consider starting.

Yes, a scan for bone density since I take so much prednisone and can't take calcium supplements. I was fine, probably because I take so much vit D and magnesium. My Rheumy has a real-time X-ray machine. When I was first seeing him and wasn't exactly dx'ed yet, I remember during the X-ray of my spine I kept saying, "Hold on, I'll stand straighter. Just a sec. I can do it." But one hip was obviously higher than the other and nothing I did, except lift one foot completely off the floor, would get it straight.

Fear not. The drug companies know that these drugs are expensive. Not only can the drug company help with the cost, but there are programs just for people - like you and me - who can't afford their deductible. In my case, financial aid meant that the first 6 months were free then I was going to transition to paying up to 50% of the deductible costs. There are printers available in all libraries on campus, and printing costs 10 or 15 cents a page. If you do not bring a printer, you will need to stay on top of assignments and make sure you have everything printed on time, but you will not have to worry about ink or paper, and often in a last-minute scenario there is a friend you can mooch a print job from. It's up to you whether you want to bring one or not; there are pros and cons on both sides.

Hi there! Are you still working part time? If so, and you are applying for Social security disability it will be nearly impossible to qualify. If they see you are able to work then they WILL deny you. Unfortunately, the social security system likes to see you without any means of income before they consider you disabled. The first thing I did after taking my RX for Humira to the pharmacy was call my insurance...Well make that the second thing...after picking my jaw up off the floor when I learned it was 2k per month and even with insurance it was still going to be over $400!! I am with Humana and the girl I spoke with worked with me all the way through the process. I had several previous pre-auths that never went thru because I just let the doc & insurance company do it. I had contact information for the girl that helped me but never needed it because she kept me informed on what was going on. After 2 - 3 weeks she let me know I was approved for 2 years. The second thing to do it check into which ever drug you are prescribed co-pay assistance program. With Humira's program I only pay $5.00 per month for both my Humira shots & my methotrexate. That saves me right around $500 a month! There are other options available too for help with prescriptions if those two don't work out... One is www.pparx.org (Thanks to Mary Ellen for sending me that one!)

Yes. I have the signs of osteo-porisis on the Femoral Head. The first bone scan, was when I was 35 so too early for aging. The Femoral Head is where the femor bone inserts into the hip. Very common in AS patients. I was not working out like I had been once my symptoms where so severe. So after being on Enbrel for several years and now doing weight bearing exercise everyday like walking, my bone scans show that I am back to normal.

My worst pain points are my neck, shoulders, middle back, my left hip , and my left knee. Yes, I have pain in other areas, but that comes and goes so frequently it could hardly be considered to be among the worst. Describe these pains:.... Neck pain feels like a sore neck that a regular person feels, as in it aches and is very stiff. The difference being, mine will not go away in a few hours time. Shoulder pain feels like there is an elephant hitching a ride on my shoulders. Middle back pain feels like someone spent a few hours striking you in that area with a base-ball bat, and you are now feeling the effects of that beating. It can go on for days. Hip and knee pain feel like you have been stuck with a very large knife in these rather sensitive joints. You wish someone would remove this knife, but they keep it in as long as possible. When you think that you can no longer bare the pain, they twist it, just to show you that things can, and will get worse.

Yes, and it's AWFUL. It's plantar fasciitis all right, and that's what finally led me down the path to the Spondylitis diagnosis. I went to my podiatrist and got orthotics when the stabbing, agonizing pain first appeared. No help. I got cortisone injections. No help. I stretched, I slept in a brace that kept my ankle at a 90 degree angle, still nothing. My podiatrist sort of gave up on me. This symptom combined with all of the neck back, hip, knee pain I was experiencing finally got in me in rheumatologist's office! Stretching your ankles and achillies tendons before you take that first step helps a bit, but for me the only real fix is a complicated strategy of medications including Enbrel. Good luck!

I agree, but I also want to point out that it gives some people a bit of satisfaction to have this place to connect with others who have so much in common. Anyone with a chronic disease can get depressing after a while. That is why sites like this exist. To let that depressed person know that they are not alone. Do not spend even 2 hours a day on sites like this however. Get on with your life, and then come back tomorrow, and reconnect.

My daughter did after they confirmed her diagnosisit showed the build up of bone mass in her cervical spine, which is the area she was first affected, and thankfully it also showed that she had not developed significant problems yet with osteoporosis the doctor gave her a copy of the skeletal read out - i tried to get her to use it as a profile pic, but she hated that idea and seemed sorta embarrassed by the print at the time, o well, it was funny anyway : )

I have that pain you speak of. I take some time in the morning before I have put those feet on the floor and grab the wall on bad days from the pain in them, it feels like it burns and hurts its most likely plantar fasciitis. I have it so lovely I have lumps on my tendons. Only one suggestion I have is - go see a Dr. A Podiatrist that has some experience with our special feet. You can manage it but do the Shoe inserts, insoles and orthotics and shoes and if it gets really bad he can meds and sometimes you have to ware a boot to give it a rest. Other wise do what he says and it can be managed to the point where your first thoughts are on coffee and breakfast not, god I got to put those feet on the floor!!!!

I have applied for the first time and have seen their doctor. I'm waiting on hearing from them. Everyone says the same thing, you will be denied the first time at least, but to keep trying and get advocate help if not an attorney. But how are people supposed to make it while we wait years for them to make a decision? I hear to keep trying, stay with it, and not give up but does anyone with AS actually recieve disability and is it worth it? It has to be enough to at least fill up a tank of gas. Hang in there! Southern California is a very interesting place... There are so many micro climates within hours of each other that it is hard to determine if it will work or not. As a rule of thumb i would look up your growing zone, if you are zone 5-8, the you can go ahead and plant away. And yes, all daylilies have specific bloom times and should be labeled as such.

Has it been raining a lot in your area? This sounds like it may be a type of fungus, especially if you can wipe it off your Lemon Tree. I would recommend you put it in an area that get goo air circulation and may be protected a bit from heavy downpours.

Hi JohnCongratulations on getting to the prototype stage. You always are in a much stronger position if you have something tangible to show people. It doesn't mattter if it is not the final version. There is an old adage to prototype often to fail early! One of the first questions I would consider is where is the largest market for your product and if you have someone interested in working with you in that country so much the better.However you need to consider what you really want to do. Do you want to manufacture the product in the UK and create a business selling to your potential distributors, or do you simply want to patent and develop the idea and then perhaps licence the product to distributors in your key markets. Your choice!The other bit of advice I would give you is to get a patent if you have something that is unique. They are not cheap but will give you the window to exploit your opportunity. And if you don't have a patent you need to be very comfortable that the person you are showing your idea to does not rip you off. I hope this has been useful. Gordon

It sounds like classic plantar fascitis to me. I had it for years. First thing in the morning or anytime after being off my feet for a while. I wore orthotics, no help, had surgery to release one of the plantar fascia, no difference. Lost 100 pounds, no more pain. I do think that the AS causes all kinds of havoc with the tendon insertions especially the achilles. I can see the swelling in my daughter's achilles. Biofreeze helps her some, and Enbrel and Lodine. But really, her feet always hurt to some degree.

I have such pain that in the morning I can hardley walk. I cannot spend any amount of time on them either. I keep telling my doctors about the pain, but they do not seem to concerned about it. I have been dx'ed with plantar fasciitis, but I also do not think that is correct and that my feet are the result of AS. They get better after about a half hour to hour of being up and as soon as I get to moving around they start hurting again. There is nothing worst then feet that hurt all the time.

The pain is most likely from your Achilles Tendon and maybe complicated by a planters wart like me. I find the pain is worse the better I sleep. Fridges can be as expensive to rent as they can be to buy. I learned that the hard way the first time through rez. You should probably just buy a cheap mini-fridge rather than renting them. The rental company finds ways to get more money from you by charging you for 'improper treatment of fridge' (ie. You scratched it or something) or 'improper cleaning of fridge' (ie. You didn't drain all the water out and clean the fridge well enough so they add a surcharge). Either way it's expensive in the end, so you're better off just buying one of those budget fridges at Walmart.

I am on disability. For me I started the process after being on family medical leave 3 times for 2-3 wks at a time in a 3 month period. I knew working 40 hrs was not going to continue so I quit my full time job & got a part time job working 20 hrs a wk. Once I started my part time job I applied for disability. It took almost exactly 6mths to the day I applied for me to be approved. My dad did the same. He also waited to apply till he was unable to work full time. I would talk to your dr & ss. I believe you have to have a 6th month period were you are not working full time making under a so much money before you are approved. So your next step maybe going part time.

Yes. My feet hurt all of the time. The main pain is around the heels and in the ball joint under my big toe. I have had painful feet since AS was diagnosed. My rheumy says it is Bursitis which I say in BS since they have been inflammed all the way back into my 20's. On the days I take Enbrel, they don't hurt. And once I am up running around for awhile the pain goes away. But let me sit down for ten minutes and the pain is back, so that to me is AS. Bursitis hurts if you move it. AS pain goes away when you move.

I had similar pain and constant throbbing. One thing that helped was a knee brace bought at a pharmacy. I bought the kind with the velcro so I could control the tension. It is not a permantent solution but helps during flare ups. Hope this helps.

YES and for me it's plantar fasciitis in my heels and I get cortisone injected into them every 6 months or so or else it gets to the point that I can't walk. Even when my heels are ok, sometimes my whole foot, both feet, feel that way in the morning when I first get up.
